If Miss Ruston has the notes of the meeting between Mr.Paskin, herself and lin Hastings which in Hastings drafted, and it is agreed,it should be substituted for the part of the minute which gives the result of that meeting.

Mr. Roberts-Wray, the draft of this Order in Council is now ready for issue.

But in view of your impending absence, I am submitting it to you (before that final vetting) in order that we can settle the subsequent action to be taken.

The important thing is now to select

a Committee to exercise the functions prescribed in the Order in Council. Our earlier proposals for the Committee are set out in Miss Ruston's minute of the
